The release of the Padayaatra official trailer brings fresh attention to the reunion of Mammootty and Adoor Gopalakrishnan. The trailer is available through the official Mammootty Kampany YouTube channel.
The project is particularly significant because it reunites the actor-director combination after more than three decades. Adoor Gopalakrishnan has written the story, screenplay and dialogues along with K. V. Mohan Kumar.

Mammootty Kampany Produces Padayaatra
The movie is being produced under Mammootty Kampany and was announced as the banner’s eighth production venture.
The film began with pooja ceremonies, marking the formal start of the project. Wayfarer Films, associated with Dulquer Salmaan, will handle the Kerala distribution of Padayaatra.
Padayaatra Cast and Technical Team
While Mammootty leads the film, Padayaatra also brings together an experienced technical team under Adoor Gopalakrishnan’s direction.
Meerasahib serves as the chief associate director, while George Sebastian is the executive producer. Cinematography is handled by Shehnad Jalal ISC, with Mujeeb Majeed composing the music and Praveen Prabhakar handling the editing.
Sunil Singh is the line producer and Binu Manamboor serves as production controller. Shajie Naduvil handles production design, while S. B. Satheesan is the costume designer.
The sync sound is handled by Vysakh P V, with makeup by Ronex Xavier and George Sebastian. Mr. Rajakrishnan handles the final mix, Liju Prabhakar is the colourist and Kishan Mohan of Sapthaa Records handles sound design.
