YAGA OTT Release – Hudson Williams Stars in a Supernatural Mystery
YAGA will premiere on Lionsgate Play on November 6, 2026. Created and written by Kat Sandler, the series combines elements of crime investigation, fantasy and supernatural horror.
The story begins with the mysterious disappearance of Henry Park, played by Hudson Williams, the heir to a powerful fishing business.
Private investigator Rapp, portrayed by Noah Reid, arrives in the coastal town of Whittock to investigate the case. As he searches for answers, he discovers that several people in the community may be hiding important secrets.
The investigation also involves local detective Carson, played by Clark Backo, and university professor Katherine, portrayed by Carrie-Anne Moss.
As the mystery deepens, the investigation becomes connected to the legend of Baba Yaga, a mysterious witch from Slavic folklore.
The series explores the intersection of criminal motives, supernatural occurrences and ancient legends, creating uncertainty about what is real and what might be connected to something beyond ordinary explanation.
Directed by David Frazee and Rachel Talalay, YAGA features an ensemble cast including Sheila McCarthy, Megan Follows, Patrick Gilmore and Katherine Isabelle.
April X OTT Release – Connor Storrie Leads a Futuristic Action Thriller
April X is scheduled to stream on Lionsgate Play from November 27, 2026. Directed by Michel K. Parandi, the science-fiction thriller features Connor Storrie as Bax and Lilly Krug as his twin sister April.
Set in a futuristic, post-Soviet city, the film follows siblings Bax and April, who possess the ability to record their dreams onto discs.
Their lives take a dangerous turn following a deal involving gangster Sergei Tetris. When April suddenly disappears, Bax becomes determined to find her.
Burdened by debt and surrounded by dangerous criminals, Bax enters a neon-lit underworld where each new discovery brings additional challenges.
His desperate search gradually becomes an intense psychological journey, forcing him to confront questions about identity, love and survival.
The film also features Tudor Chirilă and Șerban Pavlu in important roles.
Unlike the folklore-inspired YAGA, April X offers a futuristic setting with science-fiction concepts, criminal conspiracies and action-driven storytelling.
