The Thudakkam OTT release date has been officially confirmed by JioHotstar. The streaming platform, which holds the exclusive digital streaming rights of the Malayalam movie, has announced that Thudakkam will start streaming on September 18.
Directed by Jude Anthany Joseph and produced by Antony Perumbavoor under the banner of Aashirvad Cinemas, Thudakkam marks the acting debut of Vismaya Mohanlal. The film also features Mohanlal in a special appearance.
Following its theatrical release, viewers waiting to watch Vismaya Mohanlal’s debut film online can now mark September 18 as the confirmed streaming date on JioHotstar.

Mohanlal Makes a Special Appearance in His Daughter’s Debut Movie
Mohanlal is also part of the Thudakkam cast in a special appearance, adding another interesting element to his daughter Vismaya Mohanlal’s debut movie.
While Thudakkam prepares for its JioHotstar streaming premiere, Mohanlal is also returning as the host of Bigg Boss Malayalam Season 8. The new season launches on September 6 at 7:00 PM on Asianet and JioHotstar.
The Grand Launch will reveal the contestants entering the Bigg Boss house, with Mohanlal welcoming the participants and introducing them to viewers. JioHotstar will provide 24×7 live streaming of the season and also serves as the official online voting platform.

Kappi Squad is an upcoming Malayalam JioHotstar original planned as a 100-episode series. Rinosh is among the names associated with the project. Its streaming date is yet to be announced.
