The Chronicles of the 4.5 Gang, also known as Sambhavavivaranam Nalara Sangham, is streaming on SonyLIV from August 29. Written and directed by Krishand R.K., the Malayalam web series is available in Malayalam, Tamil, Telugu and Hindi, along with English subtitles.
The series brings together Sanju Sivram, Niranj Maniyanpilla Raju, Sreenath Babu, Shambhu and Sachin Joseph in key roles, with an extensive supporting cast including Jagadish, Indrans and Darshana Rajendran.

Sanju Sivram Leads The Chronicles of the 4.5 Gang
Sanju Sivram plays Arikuttan, with Niranj Maniyanpilla Raju as Althaf, Sreenath Babu as Sudev, Shambhu as Maniyan and Sachin Joseph as Murali Gangadharan.
The series also features Jagadish, Indrans, Hakim Shahjahan, Darshana Rajendran, Vijayaraghavan, Vishnu Agasthya, Alexander Prasanth, Santhy Balachandran, Zarin Shihab, Rahul Rajagopal, Zhinz Shan, Geethi Sangeetha, Krishand and Vigneshwar Suresh.
Jomon Jacob has produced the series, with Vishnu Prabhakar handling cinematography. Nikhil Prabhakar serves as chief associate director, while the editing is handled by Sasi Kumar.
Krishand and SonyLIV
The Chronicles of the 4.5 Gang continues the association between Krishand and SonyLIV following Aavasavyuham and Purusha Pretham.
The series adds another Malayalam title to SonyLIV’s expanding regional catalogue. Jai Mahendran, starring Saiju Kurup, was the platform’s first Malayalam Original series, while more Malayalam Originals are also being prepared for streaming.
More Malayalam OTT Releases
Dheeran, featuring Rajesh Madhavan and directed by Devadath Shaji, started streaming on Sun NXT from August 22.
Sarkeet, Vasanthi, Kadha Paranja Kadha, ID: The Fake, Poyyamozhi, Bhagavan Dasante Ramarajyam, Koodal and Thetta are among the other Malayalam films lined up for OTT streaming.
Malayalam web series are also getting new additions, with Kammatam on ZEE5 and Pharma on JioHotstar, featuring Nivin Pauly, scheduled to begin streaming from August 29.
More Malayalam Originals on SonyLIV
SonyLIV is further strengthening its Malayalam Original lineup with upcoming projects including Blindfold and Eyes.
Blindfold, directed by Anzarulla and written by Harshad, features Lijomol Jose, Arjun Radhakrishnan and Lukman Avaran in lead roles.
Eyes is directed by Manu Ashokan and stars Dev Mohan, Shruti Ramachandran, Saniya Iyyappan, Nikhila Vimal and Kani Kusruti. The streaming dates for these two upcoming series have not yet been announced.
