Nool Malayalam Movie Announced – Rajeev Rangan Launches Female-Led Mystery Thriller

Actor and director Rajeev Rangan has announced his new Malayalam movie Nool (Thread), marking the first production from Rajeev Rangan Productions. Made in association with Mary Matha Productions, the upcoming film is conceived as a female-led mystery thriller featuring an investigative storyline, strong characters and a suspense-driven narrative.

Rajeev Rangan has written the story and will direct Nool. The title launch, pooja and switch-on ceremony were held at the AMMA Association Hall in Kochi, with filmmaker Sibi Malayil inaugurating the function by lighting the ceremonial lamp.

Rajeev Rangan Directs Nool

Rajeev Rangan is handling the story and direction of Nool, which also marks the first movie produced under the Rajeev Rangan Productions banner in association with Mary Matha Productions.

Nool Title Launch and Pooja Held in Kochi

The title launch, pooja and switch-on ceremonies for Nool were organised at the AMMA Association Hall in Kochi.

Veteran filmmaker Sibi Malayil, who is also Rajeev Rangan’s mentor, lit the first ceremonial lamp and officially unveiled the title poster of Nool.

Actors Kunchan, Ravindran, Kukku Parameswaran, Asha Aravind, Shanthakumari, Naveena Vijayan, Bigg Boss fame Aneesh, Rajesh Puthenpurayil, Shobha Kunchan, Rajeev Rangan and Sajini Rajeev also participated in the ceremonial lamp-lighting.

Nool Movie Switch-On Ceremony

Actor-director Sohan Seenulal and cinematographer Krish Kaimal performed the switch-on ceremony.

Veteran actress Shanthakumari gave the first clap in the presence of senior actresses Omana Ouseph, Deepika, Bindu Varappuzha and Gomathi Mahadevan.

Several personalities from the Malayalam entertainment industry were also present at the event, including Raja Sahib, Latha Das, Rani Sharan, Ambili S. Rangan, Viju Bal, Charlie, Shafeeq Rahman, Ashiq, Venu B. Nair, Anju Ashraf, Jyothi Sivaraman, Anila C. Thomas, Rajaji, Rajesh Jana, Prasanth Murali, Ashok Sadan and artist Javan Chacko.

Krish Kaimal Handles Cinematography

Krish Kaimal, director and cinematographer of the State Film Award-winning Olappeeppi, is handling the cinematography of Nool.

Vijay Menon is responsible for the screenplay and dialogues, while Anoop S. Kurup handles editing.

Mahindran Pothuval composes the music, with Ajith Sukumaran handling the background score. Sony Sukumaran serves as the second-unit cinematographer.
