New Song From Veeravanakkam Movie, Tributes to Late VS Achuthanandan
The title song of the Tamil film ‘Veeravanakkam‘, directed by Anil Vinagendran, based on the heroic struggle of Comrade P. Krishna Pillai and the communist movement, was released in Chennai, dedicated to the memory of the beloved leader of the working class and former Chief Minister V.S. Achuthanandan.
Comrade P. Krishna Pillai, who worked in secret and in public to organize the Communist Party throughout Kerala, was a determined and revolutionary youth found in Alappuzha. This main song from ‘Veeravanakam’, which commemorates the struggles of the working class including the Punnapra-Vayalar strike and those who led it, was released in Chennai as a tribute to V.S.
The President of the Dravida Kazhagam of Tamil Nadu, the successor of Periyar and the respected Mr. The song was released by K. Veeramani. He said that it will help fill everyone’s memories with the historical tradition, progressive thoughts and mutual love of Tamil Nadu and Kerala.
This is also the song that introduces T.M.S. Selvakumar, the son of the legendary singer of South and Tamil Nadu, T.M. Soundar Rajan, to the world of film songs.
