The original update also listed Jai Mahendran, SonyLIV’s first Malayalam Original series, among the expected February releases. However, the series did not begin streaming in February and was subsequently released on SonyLIV on October 11, 2024.

Oh My Darling Streaming on ManoramaMax
Oh My Darling started streaming on ManoramaMax on February 2, 2024, marking the film’s OTT premiere.
Directed by Alfred D’ Samuel and written by Jineesh K. Joy, the movie is produced by Manoj Sreekanta under the banner Ashtree Ventures.
Anikha Surendran and Melvin G. Babu play the lead roles, with Johny Antony, Manju Pillai, Vijayaraghavan, Nandu and Archana Menon also appearing in the film.
Thaaram Theertha Koodaram – February 9
The second title in ManoramaMax’s February lineup was Thaaram Theertha Koodaram, which arrived on the streaming platform on February 9.
It followed Oh My Darling as part of ManoramaMax’s weekly Malayalam movie additions during the month.
Bharatha Circus Streaming from February 16
Bharatha Circus was scheduled as ManoramaMax’s third Malayalam OTT release for February, with streaming beginning on February 16.
The movie joined the platform as part of a lineup that introduced a new Malayalam title on successive Fridays during February.
Sabash Chandra Bose – February 23
Sabash Chandra Bose completed ManoramaMax’s announced February lineup, arriving on the platform on February 23.
ManoramaMax had also recently added movies including Mundrothuruth (Munroe Island), Philip’s and Achanoru Vazha Vechu to its catalogue.
Jai Mahendran – Update to the Original February Report
When this article was originally published, Jai Mahendran was expected to begin streaming on SonyLIV in February 2024.
That expected February streaming did not happen. SonyLIV subsequently confirmed the series for a later release, and Jai Mahendran eventually started streaming on October 11, 2024.
Starring Saiju Kurup as Mahendran, the political drama became SonyLIV’s first Malayalam Original series. Suhasini Maniratnam, Miya George, Suresh Krishna, Maniyanpilla Raju, Balachandran Chullikkad, Vishnu Govindan, Sidhartha Siva and Rahul Riji Nair are also part of the cast.
The series is directed by Srikanth Mohan, with Rahul Riji Nair serving as writer, producer and showrunner.
Other Malayalam OTT Updates from the Period
Queen Elizabeth, starring Meera Jasmine and Narain, was scheduled for its ZEE5 streaming premiere on February 14.
At the time, several other Malayalam films were awaiting their digital premieres across platforms including Prime Video, Netflix, Disney+ Hotstar, SUN NXT and SonyLIV.
The February 2024 lineup ultimately offered a steady selection of Malayalam films on ManoramaMax, while the initially anticipated Jai Mahendran streaming premiere moved to later in the year.
