Madrasi, directed by AR Murugadoss and starring Sivakarthikeyan in the lead, will hit the theatres worldwide on September 5. The title glimpse of the action-packed film had earlier gone viral on social media. Biju Menon also plays the lead role in the film. This is Sivakarthikeyan’s 23rd and Biju Menon’s ninth Tamil film. Madrasi is being produced by Sreelakshmi Movies. Vidyut Jamal, Sanjay Dutt, Vikrant and Rukmini Vasanth are the other main stars in the film.
Coming after the blockbuster success of Amaran, the music of Madrasi, Sivakarthikeyan’s film, is being composed by Anirudh Ravichander. The film’s cinematography is by Sudeep Elamon, editing by Sreekar Prasad, art direction by Arun Venjaramoodu, action choreography by Kevin Master and Master Dilip Subbarayan, and PR and marketing consultant Pratheesh Shekhar.
