Surya TV has started promoting its festival premiere movie lineup featuring Kooman, Padavettu and Mahaveeryar. The Malayalam general entertainment channel has rolled out a new promo announcing the three films as upcoming television premieres for the festive season.
The movies are being promoted as Surya TV Festival Premieres, with the channel highlighting that viewers can watch these films on television for the first time through Surya TV. The lineup is expected to form part of the channel’s Vishu and Easter special programming.

Kooman World Television Premiere on Surya TV
Kooman is one of the major movies included in Surya TV’s festival premiere campaign. The thriller is directed by Jeethu Joseph and written by K.R. Krishna Kumar, with Asif Ali playing the central character C.P.O. Giri Shankar.
The film features Asif Ali, Renji Panicker, Jaffar Idukki, Baburaj, Hannah Reji Koshy and Meghanathan in prominent roles.

With both Nivin Pauly and Asif Ali in prominent roles, Mahaveeryar adds another star-driven movie to Surya TV’s Vishu and Easter programming.

From 1 April, online videos of serials including Aniyathipraavu, Sundari, Sita Ramam, Nethra, Kanyaadaanam, Bhavana, Kaliveedu and Kanalpoovu will be available through the Sun NXT application instead of YouTube.
The change makes Sun NXT the online destination for these Surya TV serial episodes.
