Prime Video has announced the worldwide premiere date of its upcoming Telugu Original series Jagamae Sangeetham. The musical family drama will begin streaming on September 4, 2026, in India and more than 240 countries and territories worldwide. The series will be available in Telugu with English subtitles, along with a Tamil dubbed version.
Created and directed by Palnati Surya Pratap and produced by Sushmita Konidela, Jagamae Sangeetham is inspired by Prime Video’s Hindi Original series Bandish Bandits. The series brings together Carnatic music, family relationships, artistic ambition and a generational legacy.

Jagamae Sangeetham Story
Set against the culturally rich world of Carnatic music, Jagamae Sangeetham follows Balu, the heir to the legendary musical legacy established by his grandfather, Shastri.
Balu finds himself carrying the weight of generations of tradition while simultaneously dealing with fractured family relationships and secrets that have remained buried for years.
The situation becomes increasingly complicated when old rivalries return and threaten the musical heritage his family has spent generations building. Balu is consequently caught between protecting that legacy and finding an artistic identity of his own.

Shastri has devoted his life to the traditions of Carnatic music, while Balu gradually begins exploring a musical world that extends beyond those established boundaries.
