After Manjummal Boys, Chidambaram is directing The Film, Produced by KVN Productions and Thespian Films
Chidambaram’s Next Is Balan, Ajayan Chalissery is The Production Designer
Venkat K Narayana-led KVN Productions and Shailaja Desai Fen-led Thespian Films are coming together for a Malayalam film. After the film ‘Manjummal Boys‘, which became one of the all-time blockbusters in Malayalam, these banners are coming together for a new film directed by Chidambaram.
The pooja ceremonies of this film, written by director Jithu Madhavan, who gained attention for making huge hits like Romancham and Aavesham, were held in Kovalam today. The film is titled Balan. The film’s crew and stars, including the film’s cast, attended the ceremony. The film is being made with an all-new cast.
This Chidambaram project is also the first Malayalam film by KVN Productions, which is producing the Tamil blockbuster ‘Jananayakan‘ by Thalapathy Vijay and the massive Kannada film ‘Toxic’ by the Geethu Mohandas-Yash team. The cast of the film was selected through auditions.
Ajayan Chalissery, who created the stunning sets for Manjummal Boys, is the production designer for this film. Shyju Khalid is the cameraman for the film, which has music composed by Sushin Shyam. Editing – Vivek Harshan
