Puzhu made its debut directly on SonyLIV, bypassing theaters altogether. Directed by newcomer Ratheena and co-written by Harshad and Suhas-Sharfu, the film showcases Mammootty alongside Appunni Sasi and Parvathy Thiruvothu. With cinematography by Theni Eswar and a score by Jakes Bejoy, Mammootty takes on the role of Kuttan, an IPS officer with a complex, darker side.

Bramayugam, a 2024 Malayalam-language period folk horror thriller, is another highlight, written and directed by Rahul Sadasivan and produced by YNOT Studios and Night Shift Studios. Sony LIV has acquired the digital rights to the movie Turbo, which will be available on the platform starting August 9. Viewers can enjoy the film in multiple languages, including Malayalam (the original), Hindi, Tamil, and Telugu. Written by Midhun Manuel Thomas and directed by Vysakh, Turbo is produced by Mammootty under his own banner, Mammootty Kampany.
