ZEE5, a streaming platform, marks its entry into the Malayalam market with its first original series, Kammattam. Inspired by one of Thrissur’s real-life incidents, this six-episode crime thriller explores a murder mystery rooted in betrayal, silence, and moral conflict. The Series Is a Part of ZEE5’s Onam Specials, Suresh Gopi Starer Janaki V Vs State Of Kerala Aka JSK is the Newly Added Movie on the Platform.
Kammattam Directed by Shan Thulasidharan and produced by 23 Feet Productions, the series features Sudev Nair in the lead alongside Jins, Jeo Baby, Ajay Vaasudev, Akhil Kavalayoor, Arun Sol, Sreerekha, and Jordy Poonjaa. Premiering exclusively on ZEE5 on 5th September, Kammattam represents a step into Malayalam storytelling on OTT.
