Young actor Shaheen Siddique is all praise and excitement while speaking about his experience acting alongside Malayalam megastar Mammootty once again in the film Patriot, which continues its successful theatrical run after creating waves at the box office and winning audience appreciation.
Shaheen Siddique, who made his acting debut as Mammootty’s son in National Award-winning director Salim Ahmed’s acclaimed film Pathemari, has since impressed audiences through several notable performances in Malayalam cinema. The actor says getting another opportunity to perform alongside Mammookka in a powerful role feels like a huge blessing in his career.

Memorable Fight Sequence with Mammootty
Shaheen fondly recalled an intense fight sequence he shared with Mammootty in the film. He revealed that he was amazed by the superstar’s dedication and willingness to take risks during action scenes.
One particular stunt required Shaheen to grab Mammootty by the neck and spin him as part of the sequence. The young actor admitted that he performed the scene with great fear and nervousness.
However, Mammootty personally supported and guided him throughout the process, explaining exactly how the stunt should be executed safely. Thanks to Mammookka’s guidance, the sequence was completed perfectly without any injuries.
Special Moments with Fahadh Faasil
Shaheen also spoke warmly about his scenes with Fahadh Faasil in the movie. The actors reportedly worked together for three to four days during the shoot.
Beyond the dialogues and scenes, Shaheen described watching Fahadh Faasil’s performance up close as a memorable learning experience. Since Fahadh was also his senior in college, the two had many conversations during filming, making the experience even more meaningful.
