The pooja ceremony of the film Mahiyanu Nayakan (മഹിയാണ് നായകൻ), written and directed by Lakshman and starring newcomers Lal Hari and Vinu Bhai in the lead roles, was performed at the Layam Koothambalam in Tripunithura. Renowned actor Jayan Cherthala inaugurated the ceremony by lighting the Bhadradeepam.
Jayan Cherthala, Tony, Manraj, Narayanan Kutty, Ullas Pandalam, Unni Nair, Kottayam Purushu, Raja Sahib, Seema G Nair, Latha Das and others are among the prominent stars.
