After the popular films ‘Kallanum Bhagavathyyum’ and ‘Chithini’, the shooting of East Coast Vijayan’s new film ‘Bheeshmar’ has begun under the banner of East Coast Communications. The shooting began with a puja ceremony held at the Manpillikkavu Devi Temple in Palakkad this morning. The stars and crew attended the ceremony. After the ceremony, the crew also released the title look poster of the film.
‘Bheeshmar’ is being prepared as a romantic-fun-family entertainer that can be enjoyed by both the youth and the family audience. This is also the hint given by the title look poster of the film that was released today. Dhyan Sreenivasan and Vishnu Unnikrishnan play the central characters in the film. This is also the film in which East Coast Vijayan and Vishnu Unnikrishnan are coming together after ‘Kallanum Bhagavathik’. Along with Divya Pillai, two newcomers are also appearing as heroines. The film has a large star cast including Indrans, Unni Lalu, Shaju Sridhar, Akhil Kavalayoor, Senthil Krishna, Jibin Gopinath, Vineeth Thattil, Santosh Keezhattoor, Binu Thrikkakara, Manikandan Achari, Abu Salim, Jayan Cherthala, Sohan Seenulal and Vishnu Grover newcomer Indrajith.

The story of Bheeshmar is by Ansaj Gopi. While Ratheesh Ram is handling the camera, Johnkutty is handling the editing. There are four songs in the film. The music is by Ranjin Raj and K.A. Latheef, with lyrics by Harinarayanan B.K, Santhosh Varma and O.M. Karuvarakundu.
Art direction is by Boban, costume design by Manjusha and make-up by Salam Arookkutty. Fight sequences are by Phoenix Prabhu. Ayyappa Das is also the choreographer. Sachin Sudhakaran (Sound Design), Nithin Neduvathoor (VFX), Liju Prabhakar (Colorist), Subhash Ilambal (Chief Associate Director), Anoop Sivasevan, Saju Pottail (Associate Directors), K.P. Muraleedharan (Title Calligraphy), Mami Joe (Designer), Aji Muscat (Still Cinematography), and other technical staff. Sajith is the executive producer and Rajeev is the production controller. The film’s PRO is Pratheesh Shekhar.
