Watch Promise on Prime Video
Promise is now available to stream on Prime Video, bringing the Tamil romantic drama to digital audiences.
The movie focuses on a relationship shaped by love, commitment and the weight of promises. Rather than limiting the story to romance, the narrative examines what happens when commitments remain unfulfilled and decisions begin to affect a marriage.
Story of Promise
The story follows Mithran and Lakshmi, whose relationship survives family opposition and social pressure before eventually leading them to marriage.
Their journey, however, becomes increasingly complicated after marriage. Unfulfilled promises and hidden failures gradually create strain in their relationship. When a broken vow triggers a chain of painful consequences, Mithran is overwhelmed by guilt and fear.
Pushed to the edge by the consequences of his choices, Mithran is forced to make another promise — one that could change their lives forever.
The film places love, trust, responsibility and the consequences of a broken promise at the centre of its emotional relationship drama.
Promise Cast and Crew
Arunkumar Sekaran directs Promise and also appears in the cast. The other prominent performers include Nathiya Somu, Sujan Christopher, Karthik Smith, Raja and Dr. Ivin.
The film is produced by Narayana Nagaraj and Gokulakrishnan P under the banner of Amman Arts Creations.
