Following the success of Eko, which received widespread appreciation from audiences across languages and achieved notable success in theatres and on OTT platforms, Aaradyaa Studios has unveiled the title poster of its second production, Poocha Sar – പൂച്ച സാർ.
The film is produced by MRK Jayaram under the banner of Aaradyaa Studios.
Poocha Sar (Poocha Sir|) marks the directorial debut of Rejivan Abdul Basheer, who has previously worked as Chief Associate Director on several projects, including Vaazha 2. The screenplay is written by Arun D Jose, known for films such as Jo and Jo, 18+ Journey of Love, and Bromance.
The film features Joemon Jyothir in the central role, while Alan Bin Siraj appears in a full-length character role. The makers have also revealed that several prominent actors from Malayalam cinema and South Indian films will be part of the project.
One of the unique highlights of Poocha Sar (Poocha Sir|) is the presence of a cat in a major role. While Aaradyaa Studios’ first production, Eko, gave importance to canine performances as part of Bahul Ramesh’s Animal Trilogy, Poocha Sar brings a feline character into the spotlight.
The title poster of Poocha Sar has already attracted attention on social media with its distinctive visual style and intriguing presentation. The poster hints at a film that blends humour and adventure while offering a unique cinematic experience.
According to the makers, the shooting of Poocha Sar is expected to begin during the middle of this year.
