Pennum Porattum is Directed by Rajesh Madhavan and Written by Ravisankar
Renowned actor Rajesh Madhavan’s directorial debut, “Pennum Porattum”, will premiere in the gala section at IFFI Goa on November 26. “Pennum Porattum” is the only Malayalam film to be screened in the gala premiere section along with several international films. Produced by Santosh T. Kuruvila and Binu George Alexander, who have made hits like “Nna Thaan Case Kodu” and “Android Kunjappan”, “Pennum Porattum” stars a dog named Suttu, around 100 new actors and over 400 trained animals.
Written by Ravi Shankar, the film is directed by Rajesh Madhavan, with cinematography by Sabin Uralikandi, music by Don Vincent, editing by Chaman Chacko, co-producer by Sherin Rachel Santhosh, production controller by Benny Kattappana, executive producer by Arun C. Thampi, sound designer by Sreejith Sreenivasan, art direction by Vinod Pattanakadan, makeup by Ronex Xavier, costume design by Tino Davis & Visakh Sanalkumar, PRO by Vysakh Vadakkeveedu & Jinu Anilkumar, poster designs by Sarkasanam and others.
In addition, “Pennum Porattum” will also be screened in the Malayalam Cinema Today section at Kerala’s own International Film Festival, IFFK. This film, which falls into the social satire genre, will hit theaters in early 2026.
