The first song from the movie ‘Adinasham Vellappokkam‘, produced by Manoj Kumar KP under the banner of Suryabharathi Creations and directed by AJ Varghese, who has directed films like Adi Kapyare Kootamani and Uriyadi, has been released. The rhythm-based lyrics of the song, which has been released lyrically, starting with ‘Lakka Lakka Lakka’, are already getting good comments on social media. Suresh Peters is a well-known music director and singer in the South Indian film industry. Suresh Peters rose to fame in the 90s with A. R. Rahman songs like Chik Puk Re and Petta Rap in Tamil. He has also sung a handful of songs in Malayalam during that time. His first major venture was an independent Tamil music album called Minnal. Peters’ work has since expanded to five Indian languages - Hindi, Telugu, Kannada, Malayalam and Tamil. Suresh has also released three Tamil albums – Minnal, Ovium and Engirundho. Peters has established himself as an independent artist through his Tamil albums. He continues to be a prolific drummer in live performances. Peters’ latest film is ‘Adinasham Vellappokkam’.
The film tells the story of a group of students who are trying to make campus life a celebration. The film will be released on December 5. The lyrics are by Tito P Thankachan and Suresh Peters. The song ‘Laka Laka Laka’ has been sung by Suresh Peters and Tanya Shankar. John Vijay and Sindhuja have acted in the song.
The film Adinasham Vellappokkam also has the distinction of featuring Prem Kumar in a comedy role after many years. The teaser is getting a lot of attention on social media. Adi Kapyare Kootamani was released in December 2015. Even today, the film has a lot of fans.
