The new schedule of the pan-Indian film ‘Peddi ‘ starring Telugu superstar Ram Charan in the lead role has begun in Hyderabad. The longest schedule of the film began on a huge set in a village set up in Hyderabad. Directed by National Award winner Buchi Babu Sana, the film Peddi is set to release globally on Ram Charan’s birthday, March 27, 2026.

The film, which stars Janhvi Kapoor in the lead role, is being produced by Venkata Sathish Kilaru under the banner of Vriddhi Cinemas. This big-budget film is being presented by Mythri Movie Makers and Sukumar Writings. Apart from Ram Charan and Janhvi, Kannada superstar Shivraj Kumar is also playing a crucial role in the film.

About 30 percent of the shooting of the film Peddi has been completed. The first shot glimpse video of the film, which was released on the occasion of Sri Ram Navami celebrations, became a huge hit on social media. The film is currently being shot on a huge set in Hyderabad, led by Avinash Kolla, including a spectacular action sequence. Ram Charan is presented in a rugged look and fierce form in the film. He has undergone a major physical transformation for the film.

Buchi Babu Sana, who is famous for the blockbuster film Uppenna, is making this Ram Charan film on an unprecedented scale using a big budget, stunning visuals, world-class production values, and state-of-the-art technical excellence. The film, which marks the first time that the Ram Charan-Shivraj Kumar team is together, also stars Jagapathi Babu and Bollywood star Divyendu.
