The film, written and directed by Selvamani Selvaraj, is produced by Dulquer Salmaan’s Wayfarer Films and Rana Daggubati’s Spirit Media. Dulquer Salmaan, Jom Varghese, Rana Daggubati and Prashanth Potluri are the producers of the film. Selvamani Selvaraj is a Tamil director who gained attention for his Netflix documentary series ‘The Hunt for Veerappan’.
The film tells the story of a big problem that occurs between two great artists. The film travels through love, ego, art, and emotion. Kaantha’s story is presented in the backdrop of Madras in the 1950s.
