The release date of the film “Padakkalam “, directed by debutant director Manu Swaraj and starring Suraj Venjaramoodu and Sharafudeen in the lead roles, has been announced. The film will be released globally on May 8, 2025. Vijay Babu is producing the film under the banner of Friday Film House. The film is being produced by Vijay Subramaniam under the banner of 29 September Works along with Friday Film House.

The first look poster of the film, which was released earlier, had garnered a lot of attention on social media. The release date has now been announced by releasing a new poster featuring Suraj Venjaramoodu and Sharafudeen in an interesting way.

It is reported that Padakkalam is being made as a fantasy comedy film. Along with the central characters Suraj and Sharafudeen, Sandeep Pradeep, Niranjana Anoop, Saf Boy, Arun Pradeep, and Arun Ajikumar also play crucial roles in the film. Along with them, a whole host of young stars are also in the cast.
