National Games 2015 India Starts On 31st January 2015

Kerala will host the 2015 edition of indian national games. Thiruvananthapuram is the host city for National Games 2015. Kerala is hosing the games for second time, first one was 1987. This is the 35th Edition of Indian national games. Sachin tendulakar is the good will ambassador for 35th National Games. Mascot for National Games 2015 of India – Ammu is the official Mascot of National Games India 2015. Ammu, The Great Hornbill is an expression of the need to preserve Kerala’s rain forests and nature. Great Indian Hornbill is the State bird of Kerala and female name given for this mascot. The female name ammu is will be the salute to kerala’s women power. Total number of 365 gold medals, silver medals and 477 bronze medals are in the National Games. There are 33 sports disciplines included in the 2015 Kerala Games.
