Asianet announced Muttathe Mulla, Geetha Govindham and Nammal as part of its upcoming Malayalam television serial lineup. The channel was also planning a new season of the game show Adi Mone Buzzer.
During this period, Asianet made several changes to its programming schedule, including shifting Paadatha Painkili and Palunku to afternoon slots. The channel was also airing Bigg Boss Malayalam Season 4 in its prime-time lineup.
Muttathe Mulla Serial
Muttathe Mulla was initially announced as one of Asianet’s upcoming Malayalam serials. The serial was later scheduled to launch on 24 July, airing every Monday to Saturday at 6:30 PM.
The cast includes Niranjan, Arya, Lishoy, Viswam, Gayathri Priya and Anandhu.
Nammal Serial
Nammal premiered on Asianet on 5 December and was scheduled from Monday to Friday at 9:00 PM.
The serial features Mukta, Arun Ghosh, Isha, Amarnath, E. A. Rajendran, Ajay Vasudev, Lovely, Pavithran, Sania, Devdutt, Sana and Sandra in its cast.
Geetha Govindham Coming Soon on Asianet
Asianet also released the coming-soon promo for Geetha Govindham. Popular Malayalam television actors including Sajan Surya and Santhosh Kurupu were announced as part of the serial.
Muttathe Mulla was expected to join the Asianet schedule following Geetha Govindham and Bigg Boss Malayalam Season 5.

Asianet Afternoon and Prime-Time Changes
Asianet strengthened its afternoon programming by moving some existing serials from prime time. Paadatha Painkili, Palunku and Thoovalsparsham were among the shows associated with the afternoon lineup.
At the time, Asianet’s serial lineup included Sasneham, Palunku, Santhwanam, Amma Ariyaathe, Kudumbavilakku, Thoovalsparsham, Mounaragam, Koodevide, Paadatha Painkili and Daya.
The changes reflected a broader programming strategy across Star Network’s South Indian channels, with greater attention being given to afternoon fiction slots.
