Chinna Chinna Aasai is scheduled for a worldwide theatrical release on June 19, with Wayfarer Films, the production and distribution banner led by Dulquer Salmaan, bringing the film to theatres across Kerala.

The film is produced by Abhijith Babuji under the banner of Babuji Productions, while newcomer Varsha Vasudev directs the project. The film marks her feature directorial debut after the widely appreciated short film Ente Narayani, which earned significant attention from audiences.

Earlier, the makers had released the first video song from the film, beginning with the lines “Kara Kaviyathe.” The song received a positive response and helped generate curiosity about the project. With the arrival of “Kathak,” the promotional campaign continues to build momentum ahead of release.

The film also marks the return of Madhubala to Malayalam cinema in a strong central character after a gap. The actress, who remains a familiar face to Malayalam audiences, is expected to play a significant role in the emotional core of the story.

Alongside Madhubala, Indrans is expected to deliver another memorable performance. The actor has been enjoying one of the most successful phases of his career, consistently earning praise for his performances across a wide variety of roles.

Apart from Madhubala, Indrans, and Aparna Balamurali, the cast includes Vishnu Agasthya, Thambi Ramaiah, Kali Venkat, Jaffer Sadiq, and Sai Janani in important roles.

The film was shot entirely in Varanasi, a location that plays a key role in the narrative and visual identity of the project. Director Varsha Vasudev has also written the screenplay, while Govind Vasantha’s music is expected to be one of the major strengths of the film.

The technical crew includes cinematographer Faiz Siddik, editor Rexson Joseph, production controller Prashanth Narayan, art director Sabu Mohan, costume designer Sameera Saneesh, makeup artist Ranjith Ambady, sound designer Ranganath Ravi, sound mixer P.C. Vishnu, and choreographer Brinda Gopal.

With its talented cast, Varanasi backdrop, soulful music, and strong creative team, Chinna Chinna Aasai is gearing up for its theatrical release on June 19. The newly released “Kathak” video song offers audiences another reason to look forward to the film’s arrival in cinemas.
