The release date of Chinna Chinna Aasai, starring Madhubala and Indrans in the lead roles, has been officially announced. The film is set for a worldwide theatrical release on June 19. In Kerala, the movie will be distributed by Dulquer Salmaan’s Wayfarer Films.
Produced by Abhijith Babuji under the banner of Babuji Productions, Chinna Chinna Aasai marks the feature film directorial debut of Varsha Vasudev. The filmmaker previously gained attention for her acclaimed short film Ente Narayanikku.
Varsha Vasudev has also written the screenplay for the film. Featuring soulful music by Govind Vasantha, Chinna Chinna Aasai has already generated considerable buzz through its first-look and second-look posters. The entire film was shot in the spiritual city of Varanasi.
One of the major highlights of Chinna Chinna Aasai is the return of Madhubala to Malayalam cinema in a powerful central role after a long gap. Alongside her, veteran actor Indrans is expected to deliver another memorable performance. Indrans continues to enjoy one of the most successful phases of his career with several acclaimed roles in recent years.
