After sixteen years, the iconic stars of the Malayalam cult classic In Harihar Nagar — Mukesh, Jagadish, Siddique, and Ashokan — are coming together once again for a new Malayalam film project.
The actors have reunited for the upcoming film “Pathirakkurukkan”, produced by Appayi Cinemas under the banner of Appayi Cinemas. The film is produced by Sijo George, written by Sunil Karma and Nikhil Jinan, and directed by Jayesh Venugopal.
The team recently arrived in Ponnani for the shooting of the film. During production, all four actors appeared together at the location on the same day, creating a memorable reunion moment for fans and the crew alike. Producer Sijo John turned the occasion into a celebration, where the actors, crew members, and local residents gathered together. The four stars cut a cake, shared sweets, and reminisced about their long-standing friendship and memories from their earlier films.
The movie also features Nirmal Palazhi, Riyas Narmakala, Sudheer Paravoor, Kutty Akhil, Aneesh Gopal, Tessa Joseph, Ajayan Madaykkal, and social media influencers Ashwitha-Ashwija in prominent roles.
Plot Overview
Pathirakkurukkan is a humor-filled survival drama that follows four individuals from different backgrounds who unexpectedly find themselves caught in a difficult situation. The story unfolds through their struggle to overcome the crisis with comedy and emotion woven throughout the narrative.
