Director Ranjith Shankar Praised Dulquer Salmaan for His Performance in Kaantha Movie
“Kaantha”, directed by Selvamani Selvaraj and starring Dulquer Salmaan in the lead, is continuing its run with huge audience and critical acclaim. Along with the general audience and critics, filmmakers and Dulquer Salmaan are applauding the film. Now, famous director Ranjith Shankar has come forward to praise Dulquer Salmaan’s performance in the film. He wrote on his social media page that Dulquer Salmaan’s performance in the film is a milestone. The film was jointly produced by Dulquer Salmaan’s Wayfarer Films and Rana Daggubati’s Spirit Media. Dulquer Salmaan, Jom Varghese, Rana Daggubati and Prashant Potluri are the producers of the film. Wayfarer Films is the one that brought the film to Kerala as a grand release.

In Kaantha, which starred Samuthirakani as a director named Ayyappa and Rana Daggubati as a police officer, Bhagyashree Borse played the role of an actress named Kumari. Set in the backdrop of 1950s Madras and Tamil cinema, this film entertains the audience as a classic period drama and a thrilling investigation drama at the same time.
