Tollywood megastar Chiranjeevi has officially joined hands once again with blockbuster director Bobby Kolli for the much-awaited film tentatively titled Chiru 158. The movie was formally launched on May 21 with a grand pooja ceremony attended by several notable personalities from the Telugu film industry.
The project, currently referred to as #ChiruBobby2 / Chiru 158, marks the first Telugu production venture of KVN Productions after producing several major projects in Kannada, Tamil, and Hindi cinema. The film is produced by Venkat K Narayana under the KVN Productions banner.
The launch event turned into a mega celebration as Pawan Kalyan and Nagababu attended the ceremony as chief guests. Fans were excited to witness the mega family members sharing the stage together during the auspicious launch event.
Pawan Kalyan gave the ceremonial clap for the first shot, while Sushmita Konidela switched on the camera. Veteran filmmaker V. V. Vinayak directed the first shot. Senior filmmakers B Gopal and Kodandarami Reddy handed over the script to the makers during the ceremony.
Chiru 158 Promises High-Voltage Mass Entertainment
Director Bobby Kolli, known for understanding commercial audience pulse, is reportedly preparing a large-scale action entertainer with grand visuals and intense storytelling. After the massive success of Waltair Veerayya, expectations are extremely high for the Chiranjeevi-Bobby Kolli reunion project.
According to reports, Chiranjeevi will appear in one of the most intense roles of his career. Recently released gym workout visuals of the actor have already created huge buzz among fans on social media.
Malayalam actress Anaswara Rajan has reportedly been selected for a crucial role in the movie. The regular shooting schedule of Chiru 158 is expected to begin in Hyderabad from tomorrow.
Earlier, the makers had released an intriguing concept poster and a special look test image, which further increased excitement surrounding the film among fans.
