Turbo OTT release date on SonyLIV is August 9. The Malayalam action-comedy starring Mammootty made its digital premiere after completing its theatrical run. SonyLIV secured the digital streaming rights of the film and officially added Turbo to its Malayalam movie lineup.
Directed by Vysakh and written by Midhun Manuel Thomas, Turbo was released worldwide in theatres on May 23. Mammootty plays the lead character Turbo Jose, with Raj B. Shetty, Anjana Jayaprakash and Shabareesh Varma among the other prominent actors.

When and Where to Watch Turbo Online?
Turbo started streaming on SonyLIV from August 9. The platform had earlier announced the Mammootty film as one of its upcoming Malayalam releases before confirming the digital premiere date.
The movie arrived on OTT following its worldwide theatrical release on May 23. Mammootty appears as Jose, popularly known as Turbo Jose, in the action-comedy entertainer.
Turbo also marked another collaboration between Mammootty and director Vysakh, following Pokkiri Raja and Madhura Raja.
Turbo on SonyLIV
SonyLIV added Turbo to a growing Malayalam catalogue that already included films such as Malayalee From India and Varshangalkku Shesham. At the time of the Turbo announcement, the platform had also secured the streaming rights of Thalavan.
SonyLIV’s upcoming Malayalam content lineup also included projects such as Jai Mahendran, Blindfold and Sambhavavivaranam Nalara Sangham (The Chronicles of the 4.5 Gang).

Mammootty leads Turbo as Turbo Jose. The film also features Anjana Jayaprakash, Raj B. Shetty, Shabareesh Varma, Sunil, Kabir Duhan Singh, Niranjana Anoop, Bindu Panicker, Roshan Chandra, Adarsh Sukumaran, Dileesh Pothan, Johny Antony, Amina Nijam, Basil, Saravanan and Aruldoss.
Vysakh directed the film from a screenplay by Midhun Manuel Thomas. Mammootty produced the movie under Mammootty Kampany, with Christo Xavier handling the music and Vishnu Sharma serving as cinematographer.

Bramayugam is another major Mammootty movie available on SonyLIV. Written and directed by Rahul Sadasivan, the period folk horror film features Mammootty as Kodumon Potti alongside Arjun Ashokan and Sidharth Bharathan.
Puzhu had an even more significant association with the platform as the film premiered directly on SonyLIV. Directed by Ratheena, the movie stars Mammootty and Parvathy Thiruvothu in the lead roles.

Around the original Turbo OTT release period, Malayalam audiences also had several new streaming titles to explore. Malayalee From India and Varshangalkku Shesham were among the additions to SonyLIV, while Guruvayoor Ambalanadayil arrived on JioHotstar.
Mandakini was scheduled for its ManoramaMax streaming premiere on July 12, while the Malayalam web series Nagendrans Honeymoons, starring Suraj Venjaramoodu, arrived on JioHotstar on July 19.
With its August 9 OTT release on SonyLIV, Turbo gave Mammootty fans another opportunity to watch the Vysakh-directed action entertainer online.
