First Look of Pranav Mohanlal Movie Diés Iraé is Out

The first look poster of the horror thriller film ‘Diés Iraé’, written and directed by Rahul Sadashivan and starring Pranav Mohanlal in the lead, is out. The film is produced by Chakravarthy Ramachandra and S. Sasikanth under the banners of Night Shift Studios and Why Not Studios. After the success of Mammootty’s film ‘Bhramayugam’, which received huge audience and critical acclaim, ‘Diés Iraé’ is also the film where the Rahul Sadashivan-Night Shift Studios team comes together.

After the horror thriller Bhramayugam, which was made in the black and white format, ‘Diés Iraé’ is a film that further exploits the possibilities of the horror thriller genre. No information about the background of ‘Diés Iraé’ has been released yet. The film’s title tag line is ‘The Day of Wrath’, which means the day of wrath.

The same creative team behind the blockbuster hit ‘Bhramayugam’ is also behind this movie. The film, which wrapped up shooting on April 29, 2025, is currently in the post-production stage. It is said that ‘Diés Iraé‘ is being prepared in a way that will help Indian horror films gain more attention globally after ‘Bhramayugam’. The team members clarified that the film presents a different and emotional world and that while it is a horror-thriller film, there will be big changes in its storytelling and other aspects, and the film will offer a new visual experience.
