Pranav Mohanlal With Rahul Sadashivan – Diés Iraé , The Day of Wrath
After the success of the critically acclaimed film ‘Bhramayugam’, producers Night Shift Studios are set to double down on their commitment to bold and different storytelling in the horror genre. Night Shift Studios has revealed the title of their second film. Titled ‘Diés Iraé‘, the film is being written and directed by Rahul Sadashivan, who also made ‘Bhramayugam’. Pranav Mohanlal is playing the lead role in the film.
The same creative team behind ‘Bhramayugam’ is also behind Diés Iraé. The film, which wrapped up shooting on April 29, 2025, is currently in the post-production stage.
“Through the age of illusion, we have been able to bring the attention that Indian horror thrillers can get globally. Diés Iraé is the next step in this movement. Pranav Mohanlal is going to establish his own place in the horror thriller genre. Diés Iraé presents a completely different and emotional world that will deeply connect with the new generation. While it is a horror-thriller film, there will be big changes in the storytelling and other aspects,” the team says, indicating that the film will offer a new visual experience.

Details about the plot of Diés Iraé have not been revealed. The film has the tagline ‘The Day of Rath’, which means the day of wrath. The first look poster of the film is expected to be released next week. The film will hit theaters worldwide by the end of this year.
