The promo song of ‘Lokah’, the first lady superstar movie in Indian cinema, is being released today. This song also has the distinction of being the first time that Bollywood music stars are coming to Malayalam. Jyoti Nooran of the Nooran Sisters, who is a favorite of the audience for singing Bollywood movies, Punjabi folk and Sufi songs, and Meghalayan rapper Dayafi Lamare, also known as Rebel, have given life to the promo song along with music director Jakes Bejoy. ‘Chandra’ is the first film in a superhero cinematic universe called ‘Lokah’. This mega-budget film is written and directed by Dominic Arun. Kalyani Priyadarshan plays the role of a superhero character in the ‘Lokah’ world in this film. Apart from Kallyani Priyadarshan, the film also stars Nazlen, Chandu Salim Kumar, Arun Kurian and Shanthi Balachandran in crucial roles. The poster of the film promised a cinematic experience that Malayalam cinema has never experienced before.
