Tara Sutaria To Play the Role Of Rebecca in Yash Movie Toxic
As the characters in Yash’s film ‘Toxic: A Fairytale for Grown-Ups‘ are revealed one by one, the dark and powerful world of the film is being revealed in greater depth. After the strong characters of Nadia played by Kiara Advani, Elizabeth played by Huma Qureshi, and Ganga played by Nayanthara, the team has introduced Tara Sutaria as the attractive and mysterious Rebecca. This is Tara Sutaria’s first step into the pan-Indian cinema arena. The characters of these characters indicate that ‘Toxic’ will be a great pan-India cinematic experience, combining high-level action, strong dramatic moments and a deep storyline.

The character of Rebecca is someone who possesses both luxury and beauty, but is beautifully broken on the inside. Rebecca, who handles power and weapons as if they were her own, has a natural intelligence and strong self-confidence for self-preservation. In the first poster released, we see Rebecca, full of beauty and menace at the same time. The biggest promise of ‘Toxic’ is that Tara Sutarya bravely enters this harsh world full of strength and instability, completely breaking away from her beauty queen image.
Director Geethu Mohandas says about Tara Sutarya as Rebecca: “I have always felt a natural desire to protect Tara. She does not talk much, but she is someone who observes very deeply. When I gave her the necessary freedom and space to move forward, the amazing performance was born.” The film, scripted by Yash and Geethu Mohandas, is being directed by Geethu Mohandas. ‘Toxic’, which is shot simultaneously in Kannada and English, will be released in several languages including Hindi, Tamil, Telugu and Malayalam. Produced under the banners of KVN Productions and Monster Mind Creations, the film will hit theaters worldwide on March 19, 2026, coinciding with the festivals of Eid, Ugadi, and Gudi Padwa.
