The makers of the highly anticipated pan-Indian film Slum Dog, starring acclaimed Tamil actor Vijay Sethupathi and directed by blockbuster Telugu filmmaker Puri Jagannadh, have officially announced the teaser release date. The first teaser of the film will be unveiled on June 8.
The announcement was made alongside the release of a striking new poster from the film. Featuring a blindfolded figure with a blood-stained knife placed against the neck, the poster creates a dark, mysterious, and intense atmosphere, hinting at the brutal world that awaits audiences in Slum Dog. The film’s tagline is “33 Temple Road“, adding further intrigue to the project.
Currently, post-production work is progressing across all language versions of the film. Produced on a grand scale as a pan-Indian entertainer, Slum Dog is being jointly produced by Puri Jagannadh and Charmme Kaur under the Puri Connects banner, along with J.B. Narayan Rao Kondrolla under J.B. Motion Pictures.

Actress Samyuktha stars as the female lead, while veteran Bollywood actress Tabu and Kannada actor Vijay Kumar play pivotal roles. The supporting cast also includes Brahmaji and VTV Ganesh in significant and entertaining roles.
The film’s music is composed by National Award-winning composer Harshavardhan Rameshwar, known for his work in blockbuster films such as Arjun Reddy, Kabir Singh, and Animal. His powerful musical style is expected to be one of the major highlights of the project.
According to the makers, Slum Dog combines action, emotion, mass entertainment, comedy, and music, making it one of the most ambitious films in Puri Jagannadh’s career. The director has also written the screenplay for the film.
