ManoramaMax Started the Online Streaming of Priyanandanan Film, Silencer
Silencer is a film directed by renowned director Priyanandanan Lal. The film is currently screening at Manorama Max. Silencer also won the attention of the audience at the International Film Festival of India (IFFK). The film was produced by K.V. Abdul Nassar under the banner of Benzy Productions.
This film is based on the popular short story ‘Silencer’ by famous writer Vaisakhan. The plot of Silencer is the life of Mookkotan Eenashu (Lal), who is isolated due to old age but struggles with life’s circumstances. Mookkotan Eenashu is a symbol of strength and survival. Thressya (Meera Vasudev) is Eenashu’s wife. Their son Sunny (Irshad) plays the main characters in the film.
The film discusses the tastes and conflicts of the old and new generations. Although the film discusses the conflicts and social realities of human life, director Priyanandanan points out that the film will be accepted by family audiences, as it has many moments that will entertain the audience.
Despite having good wealth, Eenashu’s family has kept him away. Although he has a son, he is not very happy with him. For Eenashu, everything is his old Rajdoot scooter. The whole journey is in it. Eenashu finds refuge in isolation from his family by riding a scooter with a loud noise. Silencer also depicts the intense pain of the isolation of the elderly.
The local language and culture of Thrissur are another special feature of this film. The script and dialogues of Silence are written by P.N. Gopikrishnan, who wrote the script and dialogues for Priyanandanan’s ‘Pathirakkaalam’. Priyanandanan’s son Ashwaghosha handled the camera of the film. The cast includes Lal, Irshad, Ramu, Binoy Nampola, Meeravasudev, Sneha Divakaran, Parthasarathy, Jayaraj Warrier.
