4K Re-Release Teaser of Mammootty Movie Samrajyam Out With Release Date
The 4K re-release teaser of the super hit film ‘Saamrajyam‘, directed by Jomon released , starring megastar Mammootty in the lead. The teaser of the remastered version of the film was released on the occasion of Mammootty’s birthday. The film, which has been remastered in 4K Dolby Atmos, will be re-released on September 19, 2025. Produced by Ajmal Hasan under the banner of Arifa Productions, the film is written by Shibu Chakravarthy. The film is distributed by Arifa Release.
‘Saamrajyam’, which was the biggest film of Mammootty‘s career in the 1990s, was made on a budget of Rs 75 lakh to Rs 1 crore at that time. The film, which featured Mammootty as a stylish hero, also won great praise for its making excellence. The film, which used Benz cars and other things in abundance, captivated the audience with its stylish and eye-catching visuals. “Saamrajyam” is also a film that ran for 100 to 200 days in Tamil Nadu, Andhra Pradesh and Karnataka, not just in Kerala.
It also has the distinction of being a film without songs, with only Ilayaraja providing background music. Jayanan Vincent handled the camera and KP Hariharaputran edited the film.
