The song “Rangapooja” from the Malayalam version of “Dasavatharam” presented by Max Marketing in association with Zee Studios is out. The Malayalam version of this film, which became a blockbuster in Marathi, will be released in Kerala on December 12, 2025. The music of the song, composed by A. V. Prafulchandra, was penned by Guru Thakur. The song, sung in Marathi by Ajay Gogawale, has Vivek Naik, Santosh Botte, Mangesh Shirke, Shishir Saple, Janardhan Dhatrak and Umesh Joshi in the background.
Written and directed by Subodh Khanolkar, the film is produced by Sujay Hande, Onkar Kate, Subodh Khanolkar, Ashok Hande, Aditya Joshi, Nitin Sahasrabudhe, Mrinal Sahasrabudhe, Sanjay Dubey and Vinayak Joshi under the banners Ocean Film Company and Ocean Art House Production. The film is presented in Malayalam by Umesh Kumar Bansal, Bhavesh Janavlekar and Varun Gupta under the banner Max Marketing. This is the first time in history that a Malayalam version of a Marathi film is being released theatrically in Kerala.
The film stars Dileep Prabhawalkar, Mahesh Manjrekar, Bharat Jadhav, Siddharth Menon, Priyadarshini Indalkar, Vijay Kengare, Ravi Kale, Abhinay Berde, Sunil Tawade, Aarti Vadagbalkar and Lokesh Mittal. Varun Gupta had revealed that the Malayalam version of this film is being brought to the Malayalam audience because they accept the best films in any language with the same heart. He explained that the visuals of the film “Dasavatharam” and the emotions shared by the film amazed him, and that the desire to bring such a great film to Malayalam was the reason why he wanted to bring it to the Malayalam language.
