The shooting of Telugu superstar Ram Charan’s pan-Indian film ‘Peddi’ has been completed. The film will hit the theatres globally on June 4, 2026. The film, directed by National Award winner Buchi Babu Sana, is being produced by Venkata Sathish Kilaru under the banner of Vriddhi Cinemas. This big-budget film is being presented by Mythri Movie Makers and Sukumar Writings. The film, which was earlier announced to be released in March and then in April, has reportedly been postponed due to the time it took to complete the shooting work.
The poster of the film Peddi, which has kept its release date, features Ram Charan as a mass avatar. The intensity of the character he plays is also evident from the look in the poster. The makers are hopeful that the release date set for the end of the summer will be very beneficial for the film. The film’s packaging was completed by shooting a special song composed by AR Rahman on a huge set built in Hyderabad. This song is expected to be the highlight of the film. The post-production work of the film is also going on in parallel.
Recently, a glimpse video showcasing Ram Charan‘s huge physical transformation for the film was released and garnered a lot of attention. It was also noteworthy that Ram Charan’s character was introduced in the glimpse video against the backdrop of wrestling as a wrestler. The fact that cricket is also the backdrop of the film along with wrestling is also intriguing the audience. Bollywood star Janhvi Kapoor is the heroine of the film.
Kannada superstar Shivraj Kumar is also playing a crucial role in this film Peddi. This is also the first film in which the Ram Charan-Shivraj Kumar team is coming together. Bollywood stars Divyendu Sharma, Jagapati Babu and Boman Irani play other important roles in the film.
The songs “Chikiri Chikiri” and “Rai Rai Ra Ra” from the film, composed by A. R. Rahman, have already become super hits and trend setters worldwide. The first look and title glimpses of the film, which were released earlier, also attracted a lot of attention on social media. The film is set to be released as a pan-Indian release.
