Inspired by true events, Pharma marks the return of Bollywood legend Rajit Kapur to Malayalam cinema after a decade. The series is directed by P. R. Arun and produced by Krishnan Sethukumar under the banner of Moviee Mill.
Pharma is a medical drama that follows the different phases in the life of K. P. Vinod, a medical representative. Along with Nivin Pauly, the cast includes Binu Pappu, Narain, Muthumani, Shruti Ramachandran, Veena Nandakumar, and Aalekh Kapoor, among others.
