Zee Keralam has officially announced the World Television Premiere of Patriot, starring Mammootty and Mohanlal. The Malayalam multi-starrer will premiere on Saturday, 22 August 2026 at 7:00 PM on Zee Keralam.

Patriot Television Premiere on 22 August
Malayalam movie Patriot will make its World Television Premiere on Zee Keralam on Saturday, 22 August at 7:00 PM.
The channel, which holds the satellite rights to the film, has officially confirmed the premiere as part of its movie programming.
The television premiere provides another opportunity for audiences to watch the Mammootty-Mohanlal multi-starrer following its theatrical and digital journey.
Mammootty and Mohanlal Reunite in Patriot
One of the biggest attractions of Patriot is the reunion of Mammootty and Mohanlal after 19 years.
Bringing two of Malayalam cinema’s biggest stars together made the Mahesh Narayanan directorial one of the most ambitious projects in the industry.
The film was mounted on a particularly large production scale and developed as an international-style spy thriller.
Mahesh Narayanan Directs Patriot
Patriot is directed by Mahesh Narayanan, known for films including Take Off and Malik.
Production extended for more than a year, with over ten shooting schedules completed across multiple locations. The final schedule took place in Kochi before the film moved into its post-production phase.
The project was also mounted with one of the biggest production budgets associated with Malayalam cinema.
Patriot Filmed Across Multiple Countries
The scale of Patriot extended beyond its star cast. The film was shot across several countries as the makers sought to create the visual scope of an international spy thriller.
Filming locations included India, Sri Lanka, the United Kingdom, Azerbaijan and the UAE.
Within India, Delhi, Mumbai, Hyderabad and Kochi were among the important shooting locations.
Production began in Sri Lanka on 20 November, followed by extensive schedules across the other locations.

Anto Joseph and K.G. Anilkumar produced Patriot under the banners of Anto Joseph Film Company and Kichappu Films.
C.R. Salim and Subhash George Manuel joined the project as co-producers.
The extensive international production, multiple schedules and Mammootty-Mohanlal reunion contributed to the scale of the project.
Zee Keralam Movie Premieres
Along with Patriot, Zee Keralam has more major Malayalam television movie premieres lined up for its viewers.
Karuppu (Malayalam), featuring Suriya and Trisha, is also scheduled for its television premiere on Zee Keralam.

Karuppu Malayalam Television Premiere
Karuppu features Suriya and Trisha in the lead roles, bringing the two stars together again after their earlier on-screen association.
The cast also includes Indrans, Natty, Mansoor Ali Khan, Swasika, Sshivadha, Anagha Maya Ravi and Supreeth Reddy.
Directed by RJ Balaji, the film has music composed by Sai Abhyankar. Vishnu Edavan has written the lyrics for the song God Mode.
The Malayalam version of Karuppu will be part of Zee Keralam’s Sunday movie programming at 3:30 PM.
