Through Mission 250, HiLITE Group aims to build a network of 250 cinema screens by 2030.
The initiative is not limited to increasing screen count. Palaxi Cinemas plans to extend its premium theatre experience to smaller towns and emerging cities, particularly across Kerala’s Tier 2 and Tier 3 markets.
The expansion strategy focuses on modern projection and sound technologies, premium ambience and seating, along with enhanced food and beverage services.
Premium Cinema Experience for Kerala’s Smaller Cities
Muhamed Fawaz, CEO of HiLITE Malls & Retail, described the second consecutive Big Cine Award as a proud achievement for Palaxi Cinemas.
He also highlighted Mission 250’s objective of making an enhanced cinema-going experience available to audiences in Kerala’s smaller towns and cities.
As cinema infrastructure expands beyond major urban centres, Palaxi Cinemas is positioning Mission 250 around both geographical expansion and the development of premium exhibition facilities.

The recognition for Palaxi Cinemas Thrissur follows the Kozhikode property’s achievement in 2025, giving the multiplex brand consecutive honours in the Tier 2 City category.
