‘Paathiratri’ directed by Ratheena, starring Navya Nair and Soubin Shahir in the lead roles, has been released. Produced by Dr. K.V. Abdul Nasser and Aashiya Nasser under the banner of Benzy Productions, the crime drama thriller film provides a great theatrical experience to the audience. It has been a long time since a thriller movie was released in Malayalam that tells the story in a good way from start to finish while maintaining the thriller nature. The film revolves around the unexpected developments that take place in a midnight.

The unexpected events that occur in the ‘midnight’ that come before the eyes of police officers SI Jhansi and Constable Harish, who are out on night patrol, and the investigations related to them lead to the exciting events that take place later. Harishree Ashokan has played a great role in the film. Kannada actor Achyut Kumar, who is familiar to Malayalis through Kanthara and KGF 1 and 2, also plays a prominent role in the film. Sunny Wayne, Ann Augustine, Atthiya Rajan, Shabarish Varma, and Sohan Seenulal also play important roles. The film is also Navya Nair’s first police role in her film career.
