The Tamil crime comedy entertainer Parimala and Co, starring popular Malayalam actors Jayaram and Urvashi in the lead roles, is preparing for its digital premiere after completing its theatrical run. Released on June 5, the film opened to positive responses from audiences, and attention has now shifted to its OTT release.
The digital streaming rights of Parimala and Co have been acquired by ZEE5. While the platform has not yet announced an official streaming date, the film is expected to arrive on OTT in July if it follows the recent release pattern adopted by major streaming services.
Most theatrical releases are currently making their OTT debut after a 28–30 day window, although the final release schedule depends on the agreement between the producers and the streaming platform.
Jayaram and Urvashi Reunite for Parimala and Co
Directed by successful Tamil filmmaker Pandiraj, Parimala and Co marks the reunion of Jayaram and Urvashi after a long gap. The pairing has generated considerable interest among Malayalam cinema audiences, making the film one of the notable Tamil releases to watch this year.
The movie is jointly produced by GKM Tamil Kumaran under Tamil Kumaran Productions and Pandiraj under the banner Pasanga Films. The project is presented by Subaskaran through Lyca Productions.
