Sharafudeen’s “Madhuvidhu” to release globally on May 1; Ajith Vinayaka Films’ 12th film

The new release date of “Madhuvidhu”, produced by Vinayaka Ajith under the banner of Ajith Vinayaka Films, has been announced. The film will hit the theatres on May 1, 2026 as a global release. The film, starring Sharafudeen, is directed by Vishnu Aravind. The film is co-produced by Shanthakumar and Malavika Krishnadas under the banner of Babuvettin Productions.

Kalyani Panicker, daughter of famous actress Bindu Panicker, is playing the female lead in the film. “Madhuvidhu” is also the film in which Kalyani Panicker makes her big screen debut as a heroine. This film is written by Bibin Mohan and Jai Vishnu after the films Shylock, Madhura Manohara Moham and Pet Detective. The posters, including the first look, indicate that the film is being made as a family fun film that will entertain the audience from start to finish.

Jagadish, Aziz Nedumangad, Saikumar, Sreejaya, Amal Jose, and Sanju Madhu are the other main stars in the film. The film is being released in Kerala by Ajith Vinayaka Films, which has established itself in the Malayalam film industry with several films including ‘Ponman’, ‘Circuit’, and ‘Gaganachari’, which have received tremendous audience and critical acclaim. The film’s overseas distribution partner is Fars Films.
