Netherlands vs Sweden Match Stats, Netherlands Thrash Sweden 5-1 in FIFA World Cup 2026 Group F Clash

The Netherlands produced one of their most impressive performances of the FIFA World Cup 2026 so far, defeating Sweden 5-1 in a dominant Group F encounter at Houston Stadium. Sweden eventually found a consolation goal when Alexander Isak released substitute Anthony Elanga with a perfectly weighted through ball. Elanga kept his composure and finished beyond Dutch goalkeeper Bart Verbruggen.

However, any hopes of a Swedish comeback were quickly ended as Summerville completed the scoring. The winger capped an excellent performance by adding a goal to his earlier assist, sealing a comprehensive 5-1 victory for the Netherlands.

The result strengthens the Netherlands’ position in Group F and highlights their attacking quality heading into the next stage of the tournament. With Brobbey and Gakpo in top form, the Dutch look capable of challenging the best teams at FIFA World Cup 2026.
