Flood affected Nehru trophy boat race 2018 , it’s scheduled on this saturday 10th november 2018 at Alappuzha punnamada lake. Vallam kali aka boat races are the biggest water sportive event, it’s one of the main attractions of kerala tourism. It’s an annual event usually happening second saturday of every August, 66th edition of the race was postponed due to hardly affected flood. After 2 months gap, it’s happening at Alappuzha punnamada lake. Competition of Chundan Vallams aka Snake boats are the highlights of the event.
