Synopsis
Aswathy who had failed her 10th grade exams, belonged to an extremely poor family. She got married in to a very ordinary joint family as their eldest daughter-in-law. “Mutamate Mulla” tells about Ashwaty’s excessive luxuries and desires arising out of her inferiority complex, her attempt to show that she is more educated and rich than others, rivalry, and the problems and incidents that arise in Ashwaty’s family life and the lives of others.
