Tovino Thomas is joining hands with filmmaker and editor Saiju Sreedharan for the upcoming Malayalam movie Munpe. The film was officially launched with a pooja ceremony held in Ooty at 9:00 AM, marking the beginning of the project.
Saiju Sreedharan, who made his directorial debut with Footage, directs and edits Munpe. Tina Thomas has written the screenplay, while Kumar Mangat Pathak, Abhishek Pathak, Tovino Thomas, Dolwin Kuriakose and Tingston Thomas are producing the film.
Presented by Panorama Studios, Munpe is being made in association with Theatre of Dreams and Tovino Thomas Productions. Further details about the film’s cast are expected to be announced later.

Saiju Sreedharan Returns as Director After Footage
Munpe is the second directorial venture of Saiju Sreedharan after Footage. Along with directing the new film, he is also handling its editing.
Before moving into direction, Saiju established himself as an editor through several acclaimed Malayalam films. His editing credits include Maheshinte Prathikaaram, Rani Padmini, Mayaanadhi and Kumbalangi Nights.
The combination of Tovino Thomas and Saiju Sreedharan is one of the key attractions of Munpe, while the screenplay is being handled by Tina Thomas.
Munpe Producers and Production Team
The film brings together three banners, with Panorama Studios presenting Munpe in association with Theatre of Dreams and Tovino Thomas Productions.
Rajesh Menon and Gokulnath G are the co-producers, while Abhinay Mehrotra serves as creative producer. Ravindra Otti is the Chief Financial Officer, Kamalesh Kumar is the associate producer, Richard is the production controller, Dileep Edappattu is the finance controller and Abin E.A. serves as line producer.
The makers have not yet revealed the complete Munpe cast beyond Tovino Thomas. More names from the star cast are expected to be announced as production progresses.
Technical Crew of Munpe
The technical team includes Shinoz as cinematographer, while Rex Vijayan and Gichu Joy handle the music. Dileep Nath is the production designer, Nixon George handles sound design, Vivek K.M. handles sync sound and Sinoy Joseph is responsible for sound mixing.
Dhanya Balakrishnan handles costume design, while Ronex Xavier is in charge of makeup. Phoenix Prabhu handles the action sequences. Prineesh Prabhakaran is the chief associate director, while Aldrin Jude works as associate editor.
The VFX work is being handled by Mindstein Studios, with Ramesh C.P. serving as DI colourist and Color Planet as the DI studio. Sabi Hamsa handles still photography.
Ananthu Chandraraju, Yadhu Murukan and Kishore Gopi handle the title and design. Fatima Nagrees is the Marketing Head for Panorama, while Vaisakh C. Vadakkeveedu and Jinu Anilkumar handle the film’s publicity relations.
